Shorty Headers from Hooker BlackHeart

Hooker BlackHeart Dodge Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300 Shorty Headers deliver maximum gains of 14.7 horsepower and 15.7 foot-pounds of torque on the dyno. They're up to 50 percent (16 pounds) lighter than ordinary stock exhaust manifolds and made of 18-gauge mandrel bent 304 stainless steel for factory-like fitment and maximum performance. These headers feature 1-7/8” primary tubes and true mitered merge collectors that maximize exhaust velocity and scavenging while reducing turbulence. They're completely hand-welded, ready to bolt on with no modifications or fabrication required, compatible with factory oxygen sensors and catalytic converters, and come complete with all the necessary fasteners for a fast, easy installation.

Edelbrock AVS2 Series Carburetors

Edelbrock has announced the AVS2, a high-performance carburetor that delivers drivability with near EFI-like smoothness. The new series is based on the popular Thunder Series AVS utilizing the innovative Qwik-Tune Secondary Air Valve that provides unlimited calibration of the secondary circuit for the most precise tuning across the entire RPM range. Edelbrock engineers managed to make the AVS design even better by adding Annular Flow Booster technology. The AVS2 Series boasts new calibration and delivers superior atomization. This is provided by eight equally spaced orifices in the annular booster rings that replace the standard down-leg boosters that simply dump raw fuel into the venturi. With down-leg boosters, atomization doesn’t happen until after the butterflies, but with AVS2 annular flow boosters, atomization occurs instantly. AVS2 features two-piece aluminum construction with an ease-of-tuning design that lets you change jets, metering rods, springs, or make float level adjustments without draining the fuel from the carburetor or even removing it from the engine.

Red Line Synthetic Oil’s RL-600 Full Synthetic Brake Fluid is ready for use in road vehicles, race cars, off-roaders and motorcycles. RL-600 is a DOT 4 brake fluid engineered using a strict combination of Borate Esters and Glycol Ethers, in addition to specific moisture and corrosion inhibitors. RL-600 is developed to resist these issues and maintain lubricity, compressibility and viscosity under the most extreme conditions at the race track or on the street. The fluid has a dry boiling point of 604 degrees Fahrenheit and wet boiling point of 400 degrees Fahrenheit, far greater than the minimum requirement for DOT 4 brake fluids. Additionally, Red Line’s RL-600 can blend with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids, delivering more responsive and consistent pedal feel.
