Our World Products block is part #088555 and it comes with 4.490” sleeves that will need finish honing. The mains are cross-bolted and the lifter bores are finished. There are other improvements that the World Wedge blocks will get. Standard Mopar components fit, stiffening ribs in valley, improved rear main seal retainer, stroker clearance for up to 4.750”, rocker oiling comes from oil galley not cam bearings, provisions for external feed oil line, and more.

One feature that works great for us is that the rear of the block comes with both the standard Mopar bell housing bolt pattern, and a GM bolt pattern so a Powerglide can be used without an adapter. I am confident we will reach the 950+ horsepower I want and get excellent reliability with the new World aluminum block.
I have listed the different cylinder blocks you can get from World Products. If you are going to spend hard-earned money on heads, camshaft, good crank, rods and pistons, etc. don’t make the mistake I made by thinking a stock block will be okay. Go aftermarket and get some value for your money.
I have chosen World Products to supply the blocks for our project cars. There are other suppliers out there and I am sure they have good products. Not many, if any, have the experience of World Products when it comes to high performance cylinder block and head casting. Do your research and make a decision that is right for you and good luck at the track.
