The only bucket seats you’ll find in a Mosher car are the classic Bostrom light weights mounted on reproduction Race Hemi seat brackets. Bob only uses them in 1964 and 1965 cars.

Bob says too many people are in a hurry to junk the stock bench seat used in all 1962, 1963 and 1964 Max Wedge applications (excepting a handful of bucket seat equipped Sport Furies and Polara 500’s). A well done bench seat restoration – with the correct material and pattern - can be a thing of beauty. Bob also offers bench seating in the 1964 and ’65 cars for customers who want it.

| Tire choice is critical and bias-ply tires are a mandatory option at Mosher’s. “I’ve only had one customer force me into installing radials. If a customer wants to spoil the looks of the car, he can do it after he takes delivery”. B.F. Goodrich 7.10-15 Silvertowns from Coker are used under the front of just about every car that leaves the shop. | At the rear, low horsepower cars get Hurst 7 x 28.5 pie crust recap cheater slicks mounted to 15 x 5.5 A100 van rims. At 7-inches wide, they don’t offer much straight line traction, but neither do typical radial skins. Ironically, these new Hurst cheater slick recaps are based on P235/75R15 radial casings.
