Here are a few pictures of my '70 Challenger. It is not a numbers matching six figure car but it is sharp looking, fast, fun to drive and handles great.
I bought this car in 1992 after selling another Challenger in hope of
finding a convertible. A Buddy of mine found this one about three weeks
later and for the sum of $1100 I bought it.
As you can tell from the picture I powered it with a later 5.9 (360)
multiport injected engine and adapted a tremec 5-speed manual transmission to it. With the 3:55 rear gears it makes a great all around cruiser.
I do occasionally catch some grief from super collectors about modifying an ultra rare 6 cylinder powder blue Challenger this way and a little more from the guys that think it should be against the law to put an R/T badge on a non R/T car but that is only their opinion.
Thanks for your consideration,

Here are a few pics of our family's 1971 Dodge Demon. My Dad (George) and I built this car in 1981 and Dad raced it until 1997.He made me a deal of the century and I race the car now. Dad is still involved as he builds the engines, makes tuning suggestions, and mom and the rest of our family supply help and moral support. The engine is a 383 with TRW pistons, stock crank and rods, Mopar 292/509 cam, stock 906 heads, ancient 750 Holley and Edelbrock Tarantula (bought in 1972 !!) 2" Pro Parts headers, and Moroso oil pan. Ignition is Chrysler electronic with gold box. The rest of the combo is a 727 trans with Turbo Action 3800 converter, Dana 60 with 5.13's, Mopar S/S springs and 12.25x 31.25 Phoenix's. The car was painted in 1981and has been to 4 ET championships with Dad behind the wheel. We are anticipating 11.40 et's at Gainesville Raceway with the 383 which was rebuilt over the winter.
Thanks !!
