
It seems like 1968 Hemi Chargers appear more often than they used to at these events (not that they are common by any stretch). For many enthusiasts, this would be considered one of the pinnacles of Mopar styling and horsepower; Dodge built almost 500 of them that year.

Mike Daurity is not a cheerleader (we caught him on the upswing with his car wiper), but he is very happy with his stripper 1969 Coronet R/T. The car is a 440-powered Super Trak Pak (which meant four speed and Dana 4:10 SureGrip) with radio delete. He also has a worked-over ‘69 Super Bee bracket car so he doesn’t have to race this one!
