Another ’32 Ford with Hemi power. I’ve had my eye on this sweet coupe since it came out in 1997. Owner Chuck Walbridge shares driving duties with Howard Hoke. This car has gone as fast as 212 mph. At this meet they grabbed a top speed of 202.761. Not bad for an old 1957 396” iron lung.

San Diegan Dan Hostetter created this “space oddity” known as “The road’s end gang special” from a ’32 Ford coupe. His goal was to turn a coupe into a liner over a ten-year period and see just what the little 250-ci red Ram Hemi could do. Injected, on gasoline she turned 126 in 1998 and has gone up to 165.840 in 2007. Nice one, Dan.
