1.Charllie Westcott, Jr will have the bye run.

2. Joey Wilkes runs Charlie Westcott. (This sets up a possible Westcott, Jr vs Westcott, Sr ¼ final round match up if they get by Wilkes.

3.Fred Henson runs Matt Hensley.

4. Jim Daniels runs Jim Pancake

5. Bucky Hess runs Randy Warford

6. Joe Teuton runs J. Allen Sherman

7. Rick Houser runs John Rains

8. Larry Woo runs Dave Barton

Some key matchups will be Larry Woo and Dave Barton, both cars were within .02 the first round. Bucky Hess had his car head for the guard rail but he pulled it back to barely win first round, can he get by Warford? Fred Henson and Matt Hensley will be a good race as both cars were nearly identical in the first round.

This is the number 1 qualifier. Charlie Westcott, Jr's’ 68 'Cuda. He said if the track is right the engine is capable of 8.60s.

Here is a glimpse of the #1 qualifying Hemi. It produces about 850 HP and they spin it a tick over 8000 at the finish line. Notice the Moroso Oil Accumulator to prime the oil system when it's started and also to provide some pressure in shutdown when they stand on the brakes slowing these monsters down from 150 mph. Charlie Jr. builds the Hemis for many of the fastest Hemis on the planet at Jackson Engine Tech. If I remember right he said there were six of his engines here this weekend.
