NASCAR OR NO-CAR?

As NASCAR has complete control over restrictor plates how difficult would it be to issue ones that could flow slightly more horsepower for fan popular drivers, especially ones that have won everything except the Daytona 500?

Having been there in the "good ol’ days" I feel I have a valid point to make. NASCAR (translate Bill France Inc.) has always had it in for Operas his Daytona parking lot was full of Chebbies. Ergo a need for marketing for his customers! Enough said?

Have a few Mopars, ‘B’ body racecars, but find that there is a complete lack of knowledge, and interest in ‘F’ bodies. Have ‘79 T-top Volaire RR with 440 (real easy swap) and have owned 3 ‘78 kit cars. One is an extremely low mileage Aspen that runs real strong and handles like a Porsche. Wake up Moparites, grab those F’s before the Chebby yards crush them all!

A MODEL FAN

Need to get Buddy Martin’s email address. I build model cars and need a photo of his race car on a car hauler. A side shot of the car on the hauler or next to it, if you can help, please send photos, if not please let me know were I can find photo. Thanks, Tom.

BOBBING FOR COMPLIMENTS

Hi my name is Clara. Pat and I have a car being restored at Bob's right now. I just wanted to let you know how right you are in all of the articles you do on Bob's shop. Bob and his crew are really true Mopar lovers and it shows in everything they do. We really enjoy talking to all of them. They've gone out of their way to help us in this project and some of our future ones. We've heard great things about you from them also! Hopefully on one of our trips done there we might even get a chance to meet you too. We live in Washington state where's its green and wet. We consider Bob and Bob and Steve and Rob more then just a shop doing a job for us but new friends. Once again Steve... great article! Enjoy the sunshine.

ROCKIN’ COVERAGE

Thanks for covering the Mopars @ the Rock. This is a great event that Steve puts on, and it deserves some press.

P.S. I was in the Arrow in the other lane running the man Bullet Bob Reed. Thanks.

How do I find a copy of this April 2008 issue we (my husband and I) were there at the Mopars at the Strip with our 2008 SRT8 Charger and had a blast but had to leave Saturday afternoon and didn't see any of the Sunday highlights. I can't find your wonderful magazine anywhere here in this sad town of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Thank you in advance for you help.

How do I get your magazine?

Fortunately for you all, you're in luck. Look not for MoparMax to grace the hallowed spaces of yon local newsstand, nor should you seek us in the company of illustrious publications from prickly purvayors of puffed up patrimonious piffle, AKA, regular magazines. We prefer to make our home in the wonderful, wooly wilderness of the Internet, where we can sing, free as a bird for you, deliviring only the latest and greatest bits of news with a timeliness that induces all other pretenders to the throne to become aquainted with that green-eyed monster which doth mock the ones on which it feeds, AKA jealousy.

In other words, we're on the internet,a nd we're free.

Capice?
