MAGNANTE’S COOKIN’ IN THE KITCHEN

Steve, I am sorry about the loss of Lux. She sounds like she was a spirited cat.

A Phase V Hemi in the kitchen - man that really cooks! I hope you enjoy your new home away from LA LA Land. I love your columns and articles; keep 'em coming.

AVERTING A CAT-ASTROPHE

Steve, I had a Siamese cat that I took to a campout/concert some years ago. I rigged a line from front to back inside my van and let her leash slide on it so she had the run of the van. I came back to camp and found that she had managed to get out the driver's window that I thought was closed enough to prevent that. The cat was hanging from her leash outside the van! Fortunately I had her in a harness-type rig that went around her neck and behind her front legs. We had already found that she could slip out of a regular collar. She shared space with me for about 14 years after that! We had a couple more adventures and she died in her sleep at age 17.

ALL FOR SUPER STOCK ENGINE DEVELOPMENT

I agree with (Nicholson’s) observation, but those thoughts are why some of us lifelong Mopar fans are encouraging the development of new Challenger Super Stock program for Super Stock racing as they did in 1967-1968.

JUST AN AVERAGE FAN

Enjoyed the Victory Valve facility tour article, but judging from your picture I can only assume you were joking about "plied me with Mexican food and cheap Tequila. Since, as you can see from his photo he is, like the Burkster, a man of average size and build". LOL!

I'm as guilty as anyone with my "average size and build."

Enjoyed the article.

RAMPAGE(ING) LOVE

I love a real driver. Who needs paint and body work? Put it in the drive train. This is a real head turner that'll be a huge hit on the street or at cruise nights. Not bad for the strip either. I bet it eats rice.

LEND A HAND

Hi, I hope someone there can help. I've been having quite a problem looking for something. My husband has a 1968 Barracuda that he bought off the showroom in 1968, and still has. He drag raced till recently at our local track. In 1995 Gary was dignosed with MS and in the last couple years he's gotten worse sothat he needs a walking cane. He would like to find a cane that is related to something in drag racing, something Mopar would be super! Any ideas or web sites? Any ideas would be great. Thanking you in advance.
