Please note that we will not publish letters that don’t have your complete name. We’re getting letters that we would like to share, but they aren’t signed. This isn’t some anonymous chat room. Something like “Polara Pat” or “Mr. Hemi” ain’t gonna cut it -- after all, don’t we all fit that one?
D/SA WINNER AT GAINESVILLE WAS DUSTER
Thank you for "Mopars at the Gatornationals". I especially enjoyed the sportsman coverage. The Mopar racers had a bad weekend, however, one of them represented the marquee well. Doug Frazier, of Ringgold, Georgia, won class (D/SA) in his 1971 Duster. Doug bracket raced Mopars at Brainerd Optimist Dragstrip for many years before graduating to Stock Eliminator.

TONGUE-IN-CHEEK APPRAISAL
Could you please give me an approximate value of an original 1968 Hemi Dart?
Trey Harris
Las Vegas, Nevada
It’s only worth about $250, Trey, and we’ll be glad to take it off your hands.
ANY OLD PHOTOS OUT THERE?
I have taken possession of a 1962 Dodge Dart Max Wedge, cobalt blue with 4000 miles. This car came from the California area. Have spoken to Bob Mosher about the car and he remembers working on it many years ago. He has also confirmed that it was raced and lettered with Blair’s Speed Shop. I am trying to find photos so that I can put this car back to its race form. Bob has sent me some photos during the time he had done work on it. Car has a Lions Dragway sticker on the left side vent window, old but dated 1965. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

WHY DO YOU THINK MAGNANTE MOVED BACK EAST
I found you guys while searching around for Mopar stuff. I think your articles are great. I like the stories on the early stuff. I have a ‘65 Coronet 330. I also live in Massachusetts like Steve Magnante. I hope he can write articles about this area. There are a lot of interesting car guys and stories.

MODEL INSPIRATION
Excellent stuff, Magneto! Tons of inspiration for a Mopar fan and model car-builder. I have a '64 Valiant Signet in my garage that cannot suspect the crazy things I am considering doing to her now!
