NAH, JUST KIND OF WEIRD
Brilliant article on making the Dart into a street funny. I'm gonna do it. Do you think the same treatment would work on a 61-62 Dart? You'd have to cut the body a little higher, and extend the tailfin forward or it would look REALLY weird?

SNORK, SNORK
In your (March) magazine a story by Roger Meiners mentions a car by the name of "Snorkasaurus" and wanted to know more about it. I can shed a bit of light as I knew the owners. They were built and owned by "Blue Barnes" of Barnes Core Drilling here in Bakersfield, Ca. I'm sorry to say they have all passed on but you might check with Jim Barnes of Barnes Custom Engines at 661-327-3231. I believe he could help you.

A MIND MELD?
Hello Chris,
Reading your article about giving the people what they want had me wondering if you've been reading my mind. While I agree with every point you made I was especially surprised at your comments on the Charger/cop car connection and buying a used one in 5 years. My plan exactly! Wow!
The only things I might add are my thoughts on the SRT versions of the 300, Charger, Grand Cherokee and Challenger. Why oh why does DC insist on equipping each of these with every luxury and electronic gizmo known to man? Seems to me they're pricing the true performance enthusiast right out of the market. Why can't there be a base model with all the performance goodies but make the other fluff optional for the folks who want it? Apparently they've forgotten the success of the Road Runner.
This is the same sort of thing they've done with the Grand Cherokee. A Laredo version would suit my needs just fine if I could order one with a Hemi. But nooo, you need to pony up another 8 grand for the Limited version to get that engine! Why? (nevermind, that's a rhetorical question)
Keep up the good work, Chris. Oh yeah, I like wagons too.

HERE’S AN ASSIGNMENT FOR US
From the early ‘50s to the late ‘80s gentleman like Jack Kochman, Dan Fleenor and King Kozac used Mopars in their thrill shows. These cars were show room stock and were basically beat to death every night during the fair season. I would like to see a story and some pics on this if possible. You can find almost nothing on the Internet about these shows and I think they were a big part of the Mopar history.
Thanks - Big Mopar fan

NO BOWTIES FOR THIS GUY
I purchased a 2000 Chrysler. I probably could purchase another if a Japanese company owned Chrysler...I could not and will not buy a Chrysler product if G.M. owns them.
After 37 years of buying Mopars I'll try a Mustang. I am a stock holder...want to buy some stock?
