MOPAR OR NO CAR, RIGHT?

Glad to see you are sticking with Mother Mopar, Jok! LOL...

Now just don't let your machinist talk you out of using a filled block, unless of course you get one of the aftermarket blocks!!

ANOTHER CONVERT

Mr. Tocher:
Thank you so much for sending me the link to the magazine and for talking to me at the event.  I really loved the picture.  MoparMax is great, I really enjoyed reading the many articles in the new issue.  Hope to see you again at an upcoming event.

Regards,

Lee Saunders

Yes, we are.

THANKS FOR THE TIP

Just came across your cool magazine, looking to subscribe to your magazine.

Maybe you might be interested in a little story floating around in my area. I just picked up on this but I’d be willing to bet it’s true. It sounded pretty convincing. I heard tell of a small custom shop in Monmouth, Oregon called 99 West Customs, they even have a web site that I heard. Anyway, they have a couple of ‘Cuda projects going on; one is a 1970 ‘Cuda 426 4 speed and a 1973 ‘Cuda custom a new crate 392 hemi with 5 speed with a complete custom suspension. That’s all of the detail so far, but I am willing to bet it’s true. I have heard of 99 West Customs before,

and they put out some neat cars, especially ‘Cuda cars. Two Hemi cars but opposite of each other sounds like a story to me.

REAR END HELP

Dear Max. I’m doing the same basic rebuild on my ‘66 Barracuda that I bought myself for my 60th birthday so I’m following yours very closely. I’m having trouble finding that 8-3/4 rear. Any help would be great! Thanks.

MORE LOW-BUCK HOW-TO

I read about the big Dodge wagon that dropped 2 secs and LOVED IT!! I'm a Ford guy but that was/is cool! I also love the Project Muscrate articles (on DragRacingOnline.com).

Which I guess brings me to my point. What I miss in paper rags and most internet rags is the low buck nuts-and-bolts stuff that you guys do. I commend you on not continually pushing "pro" crap and showing sportsmen and even... dare I say it... BRACKET CARS! Yes, I love them too.

Good job. Show more cars/tech along the lines of Bracket Racing USA (RIP).
