Where did the teeth go?

Here they are! We blew them all off the ring gear three feet out from the starting line during qualifying on Friday. It was the most violent rear end failure that I've ever experienced and I've killed at least ten of them over the years. My back and neck hurt for days afterwards. Work, work, work!

Of course it was time for one our famous rear end swap performances. Our friend Steve Schwab from Red Dice Racing loaned us a 4.56 gear set to replace our obliterated 4.88s. We got everything swapped out so quickly that we didn't even miss a run. We have lots of experience.

There were many cool Mopars to be seen in the pits. This is the latest addition to the Bushmaker racing team. It's a hot little '65 Plymouth Valiant with a high winding 273 4bbl under the hood. Going through the NHRA Stock classification guide with a fine toothed comb to find competitive combinations is a big part of Stock Eliminator.
